Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 Is a video game of fighting , published by Atari and Namco Bandai Holdings and developed by Spike on the universe of Dragon Ball Z . It is available since late 2007 on PlayStation 2 and Wii . This opus follows Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 released on the same supports in 2006 and 2007 .
Thus, more than 160 characters (including transformations) are playable in a selection of thirty arenas available, some of which are available in three versions: day, evening and night. In some arenas, the night allows the Saiyans to use the moon to transform into giant monkeys. Some use an artificial moon they will create themselves as Vegeta , Thales and King Vegeta .
The 'Scenario' mode offers several series of semi-scripted fights, taking up the main highlights of the Dragon Ball , Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT sagas . The Saiyens saga allows to fight Raditz , then Nappa and finally Vegeta . The Freezer saga draws the player on the planet Namek , where he will face Freezer's troops (the Guinue commando), then the tyrant himself. In the second part, the player is Freezer and must fight Krilin , Piccolo , Son Gohan and Vegeta with the various transformations of the tyrant, then in the last two games, the player plays Son Goku to beat Freezer permanently . The Cyborgs saga puts the player at grips with Doctor Gero's androids and then with Cell and his various transformations.
The Boo saga traces the many fights of Son Goku and his friends against the evil Boo creature . The Special Saga brings together the best fighting films and OV Dragon Ball Z , including those involving Cooler , C-13 , Broly , Bojack or Janemba . The Dragon Ball GT saga summarizes the GT anime, including fights against Baby (Dragon Ball GT) , Super C-17 and Li Shenron . The Dragon Ball saga resumes some passages of the Dragon Ball manga . They include Nam , Aralé , Tao Pai Pai and Commander Blue . Finally, the alternative saga offers several original fights, alternate versions of those presented in the manga .
